ART IN THE OPEN AIR...

Summer is here and once again it is time for art in the open air. For the eighth year running we will be transforming our sleepy tree lined avenue into a bussling art fair; over a hundred artists showing over a thousand pieces of work. Works exhibited will include painting, mixed-media, print making and photograph. Prices range from under £50 to over £1,000 making it truly affordable for all art lovers.

Entrance is free, and for a great family day out you could also visit the Lambeth Country Show in nearby Brockwell Park. Also, don't forget to visit our tasty food stalls serving a mouth watering selection of Jamaican, Portuguese and Mexican goodies.

We are also pleased to announce that this year our "Charity Sunday" will be supporting the Trinity Hospice. Founded in 1891 they are heavily reliant on public donations to provide their invaluable service of caring for people with advanced illnesses both at their Clapham hospice and within the patient's home.

Urban Art 2009 is a unique London event not be missed. Not only is it the perfect setting to view new and original artworks, it is also a great way to meet the artists face to face, plus the bonus of raising money for a very worthy cause.

So make a note in your diary and set a date to experience art in the open air... it's what Summer days were made for.

18th & 19th July, 10am-6pm.
