Come Rain or Shine

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for Urban Art 2025 on Josephine Avenue, Brixton SW2 this past weekend. Despite the Sunday showers, the spirit of creativity and community shone brightly throughout the event.

To all the visitors who came with umbrellas and enthusiasm, thank you for supporting local artists and making the atmosphere so uplifting. To the 120+ exhibiting artists who transformed the avenue into an open-air gallery, we salute your talent, resilience and good humour. The impressive average sale of around £550 per artist reflects not only the quality of work on display, but also the appetite for original, affordable art in our neighbourhood.

A huge shout-out also goes to our incredible charity partner volunteers from the Anchor Group, Southside Rehabilitation Project, Holy School parents and Jubilee School parents. Through their hard work and dedication, each group raised over £1,600, a fantastic result that will go a long way to supporting good causes close to home.

Urban Art has always been about more than just art, it’s about connection, creativity and community spirit. Thank you for making 2025 another memorable year. See you 4th and 5th July 2026!
